Blood donation is completely safe. We use sterile, single-use needles and follow strict medical guidelines to ensure donor safety.

No. Most donors feel normal after a short rest and some refreshments. Your body quickly replaces the donated fluids.

What should I eat before donating blood?

Eat a healthy, iron-rich meal (fruits, vegetables, whole grains) and drink plenty of water. Avoid oily or fatty foods right before donation.

How long does the donation process take?

The actual donation takes about 10–15 minutes, but the whole process (registration, health check, donation, rest) usually takes 30–45 minutes.

Can people with tattoos donate blood?

Yes, but only after a waiting period. If you got a tattoo, piercing, or permanent makeup within the last 6 months, you must wait 6 months before donating blood. After that, if you are healthy and meet the criteria, you can donate safely.
